Terms of Service

Welcome to BabyHelp Pro (hereinafter "the Service"). Please read the following terms carefully before creating an account or using the Service. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. Service Description
BabyHelp Pro is a pregnancy and parenting management application designed for expectant parents and new parents, offering the following core features:
- Daily baby care logs (feeding, diaper changes, sleep, temperature, medication)
- Prenatal checkup diary and reminders
- Vaccination tracking and reminders
- Baby growth records (weight, height, head circumference, milestones)
- Shopping list management
- To-do list
- AI parenting assistant (powered by Anthropic Claude)
- Growth photo album
- Time capsule messages
- LINE notification integration
- Family sharing (via invitation code)
The Service is provided as a Progressive Web App (PWA) installable on mobile devices. The Service URL is https://baby-help-pro.vercel.app.
2. Account Registration and Management
- You must be at least 18 years of age or a legal guardian to register and use the Service.
- You are responsible for providing accurate and truthful registration information.
- You are responsible for keeping your account password secure and for all activities that occur under your account.
- If you discover unauthorized use of your account, please notify us immediately.
- Each email address may be used to register only one account.
- A single family account may be used by up to two members simultaneously (via invitation code).
3. Subscription Plans and Payment
The Service offers the following subscription plans:

- The Premium subscription plan renews automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing cycle.
- Payments are processed through in-app purchases or third-party payment processors (such as Lemon Squeezy).
- Prices may change at any time, but existing subscribers will be notified in advance.
- The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase and does not require renewal.
4. Refund Policy
- For subscriptions purchased via the App Store or Google Play, refunds are handled by the respective app store in accordance with their refund policies.
- For subscriptions purchased through the web, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase.
- Refund requests submitted after 7 days will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- The Lifetime plan is eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase.

5. Acceptable Use
By using the Service, you agree that you will not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Upload content containing malware, viruses, or harmful code.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or accounts.
- Use automated tools (such as scrapers or bots) to access the Service in bulk.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to obtain the source code of the Service.
- Upload content that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights or privacy.
- Spread false or harmful health information.
- Use the AI assistant to generate inappropriate or harmful content.
6. AI Assistant Disclaimer
Responses from the AI parenting assistant are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind.
- The AI assistant may provide inaccurate or incomplete information.
- The AI assistant cannot replace the diagnosis or advice of a qualified healthcare professional.
- If you have any health concerns about your baby, please consult a qualified medical professional.
- In an emergency, call emergency services immediately or go to the nearest medical facility.
- The Service accepts no liability for any loss resulting from reliance on AI assistant responses.
7. Intellectual Property
- The source code, design, trademarks, icons, and all related intellectual property of the Service are owned by BabyHelp Pro.
- The intellectual property rights to content you upload (such as photos and text records) remain with you.
- You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license solely for the purposes necessary to provide the Service (such as storing and displaying your data).
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use any part of the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- The Service is provided "as is." We make no express or implied warranties as to the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of the Service.
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of any health-related information, including but not limited to information provided by the AI assistant, vaccine schedules, and prenatal checkup reminders.
- For any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.
- We are not liable for interruptions or failures of third-party services (such as Supabase, LINE, or Anthropic).
9. Service Interruption and Maintenance
- We will make reasonable efforts to ensure the stable operation of the Service, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime.
- We may temporarily suspend the Service for system maintenance, upgrades, or emergency fixes.
- Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance via in-app notifications.
- We are not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure events (such as natural disasters, cyberattacks, or third-party service failures).
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Service (or any part thereof) at any time.
10. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account under the following circumstances:
- You violate any provision of these Terms of Service.
- Your account shows suspicious or unauthorized activity.
- Your account has not been accessed for more than 12 months.
- As required by law or court order.
You may also terminate your account at any time using the account deletion feature in the Settings page. For information on how your data is handled after termination, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12. Dispute Resolution
- Any dispute arising from these Terms of Service or your use of the Service shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.
- If negotiation fails, both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be communicated via:
- Updating the "Effective date" at the top of this page.
- Sending a notification within the app.
- Significant changes will be communicated by email.
Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
